Earl "Bud" Roush, 82, of Linton, died Tuesday at Glenburn Home.

Born Dec. 31, 1915, in Clay County, he was the son of Harley B. and Pearl (Harstine) Roush. He was a graduate of Linton-Stockton High School and Indiana University.

He was a pharmacist for Rexall Drug Store and Greene County General Hospital.

He served on the Linton City Council, 1964-68, and was on the board of directors of Glenburn Home for many years. He was a past president of Linton Rotary Club, a past district deputy and past exalted ruler of Elks Lodge and a member of Masonic Lodge and First United Methodist Church.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of American Legion Post 22.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma (Jackson) Roush; one son, Reid Douglas Roush of Indianapolis; one sister, Rosalind Keller of Linton; and one granddaughter, Stevi Roush Stoesz of Indianapolis.

He was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Roush, and two sisters, Ina Jamison and Genevive Welch.

Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton with Pastor Richard Russell officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
