BURIED. John Errett Jackson, 73, Monday in Mountain View Memorial Estates following services at 3115 E. 7800 South. He died July 17. Born May 16, 1913, in Cary, [sic] Ind. Married Teresa Preece, Feb. 25, 1959; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a plumber, Veteran World War II, a captain in the U.S. Air Force and served in many church positions. Survived by wife, Salt Lake; children, JoAnn Record, Dianne Openshaw, Douglas R. Thornley, Larry A. Thornley, Gary R. Thornley, Cynthia Eve Evans, Suzon Long, John Jackson, Jr., Teressa M. Whiting; 30 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Pate, and brother, Jay R. Jackson."
