Gloria A. Jackson of 2233 E. Huntington, Quincy, died Monday (June 22, 2009) at 9:26 am in Blessing Hospital.

She was born January 23, 1942 in Quincy, the daughter of William Ray and Martha Caroline Bock Larimore. On September 28, 1963 she married Charles D. Jackson in Quincy. He survives.

She was a 1960 graduate of Payson High School and went on to get her nursing degree from Northwestern University in Chicago. She worked at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL for 32 years. She was member of Faith Presbyterian Church and Chapter FH, P.E.O.

Survivors include three children, Cynthia Eccles and her husband James of Broken Arrow, OK, Charles Douglas Jackson and his wife Laura of Champaign, IL, and Lynne Marie Sparrow and her husband Dennis of Quincy, seven grandchildren, John, Rebecca and Tyler Eccles, Theo and Martha Jackson, and Samuel and Emma Sparrow, two sisters, Dorothy Bellis and her husband Bob of Quincy, Cally Larimore of Santa Clara, CA, and a brother, Larry Larimore and his wife Guyeula of Hopkinsville, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Geneva Louise Ruyle and a brother, Ray Loyal Larimore.

Services: Thursday (June 25, 2009) at 11 am in Faith Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Kevin McGinnis officiating. Private inurnment will be in Payson New Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church.
