Tuesday services for retired school custodian
William S. Lizardi, age 83, 150 W. 12th St., Bloomsburg, died at 12:50 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2007, in the Bloomsburg Hospital, where he was a patient for one week.
Born on Dec. 4, 1923, in Hemlock Township, he was a son of the late Joe J. and Hazel M. (Pooley) Lizardi. He was a 1941 graduate of the former Scott Township High School and resided in Bloomsburg since 1952.
Bill was last employed as a custodian at the Memorial Elementary School of the Bloomsburg School District, working there for seven years, retiring in 1987. Earlier he was employed by the Houtz Tobacco, Co., Sunbury, for 17 years and for 16 years before that, at Servomation in Lewisburg,
He was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg.
Bill was a life member of the Lightstreet Community Fire Co.; the former Friendship Fire Co., No. 1, Bloomsburg; and the Bloomsburg Fireman's Relief Association.
Surviving are his wife, the former Betty B. Ikeler, with whom he celebrated 55 years of marriage on Feb. 1, 2007; two sons: Lloyd R. Musselman Jr. and his wife, Tina, Federal Way, Wash.; Douglas E. Lizardi and his wife, Debbie, Bloomsburg; three grandchildren: Alicia Musselman Nowak; Brooke Musselman; and Branden Lizardi; and a sister, Shirley Blumenstine, Sebring, Fla.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Boyd L. Lizardi and Stanley E. Lizardi; and a sister, Cleota L. Fritz.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Dean W. Kriner, Inc., Funeral Home, 325 Market St., Bloomsburg. Interment in Ikeler's Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township.
Memorials may be sent to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 123 N. Market St., Bloomsburg, PA 17815.

Betty B. (Ikeler) Lizardi, age 91,of 150 W. 12th St.,Bloomsburg, died at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014, at
Geisinger-Bloomsburg Health Care Center, Bloomsburg, where she had been a patient since Jan. 14. Members of the family were present at her passing.

Born in Mount Pleasant Township,Columbia County, on July 29,
1922, she was a daughter of the late Alfred E. and Fannie (Crawford) Ikeler. She was a 1940 graduate of the former Scott Township High School, Espy, and resided in Bloomsburg since 1941.

Betty was employed by the former Magee Carpet Co. for 32
years, retiring in December 1972. She was a longtime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the Women of Evangelical Lutheran Church (WELCA) and the Susquehanna University Auxiliary.

Betty was an avid walker and enjoyed watching basketball
games, and frequently attended Little League baseball games.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William S.
Lizardi, on June 15, 2007; also by three brothers: Donald A.
Ikeler, Bobby Ikeler, Phillip Ikeler; and by three sisters: Helen Dean Ikeler, Bonnie R. Ikeler and F. Zoe Faux.

Surviving are two sons: Lloyd R. "Bud" Musselman Jr. and
his wife, Tina, Seattle, Wash.; and Douglas E. Lizardi and his wife, Debbie, Bloomsburg; three grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; a sister, Donna J., wife of William C. Laubach Jr., Bloomsburg; and a brother, Larry C. Ikeler, wife, Lucy, Parkton, Md.

Memorial services will be Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 11 a.m.
in the Chapel of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 123 N. Market
St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, the Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders officiating. Interment in the Ikeler Cemetery, Mount Pleasant Township. There will be no viewing. The family will provide flowers.

Memorials may be sent to the endowment fund of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

W. Kriner Inc. Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 325 Market
St., Bloomsburg.
