19 December 1886 in Sunbury, Pennsylvania at the home of his parents (Noah & Elizabeth) to Anna R. Wolverton (daughter of Charles Higgins Wolverton and Eliza M. Sergeon).

About 1888 they had a daughter Bessie May who by 1900 was living with her paternal grandparents.

By 1910 he was living in Noyes, Clinton County, Pennsylvania as a boarder in the home of
Edith Hammond and they were married on
17 September 1910 in Elmira, New York.

His final marriage was on 22 August 1917 in St.Mary's, Elk County, Pennsylvania to Anna Laura Earon.
