OBITUARY
TribStar., June 28, 2006

Wanda G. Hofmann, 90, of Riley died at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006, in Terre Haute Regional Hospital. She was a homemaker.
She was born August 11, 1915, in Riley Township, Vigo County, to Ben Houk and Pollie Swallie Houk. Her husband, Floyd E. Hofmann died May 3, 2000.
Survivors include two sons, Randal Hofmann and his wife, Yvonne, and Gerald Hofmann and his wife, Sierra Sue, all of Terre Haute; one sister, Virginia Haas of Terre Haute; one sister-in-law, Mark Houk of Terre Haute; one brother-in-law, James Austin of Farmersburg; three grandchildren, Brian Hofmann and his wife, Joulie of Wisconsin, Kevin Hofmann of Indianapolis and Stacy Majewski and her husband, Dennis of Nebraska; three great-grandchildren, Kayla and Collin Hofmann of Wisconsin and Hillary Majewski of Nebraska. She also was preceded in death by her parents; her stepmother, Ruby Houk; and brothers and sisters, Floy M. Houk, Betty Houk and Calvin Max Houk.
She was lifelong resident of the Riley community and was a 1933 graduate of Riley High School.
Graveside services are 11 a.m. Friday in Oak Hill Cemetery, with Don Tinchner officiating. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor's choice. Mattox-Fox Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
