Born March 22, 1941, Jacksonville, Missouri, and is survived by her husband Rocky (of 46 years), two daughters and their spouses---Cheryl and Jim Samarzich of Festus, MO.--- Cindy and Jason Norton of Webster Groves, MO.
She is also blessed with four Grandchildren---Charlie Samarzich, Emma, Ethan, and Edward
Norton, by sister Sharon DeMint (Mike) of Cairo, MO. Two brothers---Jim Hendricks (Kay) of Moberly, MO. and Bob Hendricks (Royann) of Cairo. along with nieces, nephews, and a HOST of Christian Friends.
Shirley was a 1959 graduate of Cairo High (MO), a 1961 graduate of Hannibal LaGrange College, a 1965 RN graduate from Saint Mary's School of Nursing (Kansas City, MO). Shirley retired from Washington County Hospital in 1994.
