MARY F. WEEKS, 92, died on Mon., Nov. 22, 1999, at Tri-County Convalescent
Home in Adamsville of heart failure. She was a homemaker and a life long
member of Solitude Freewill Baptist Church.
Services took place at 3 p.m. on Wed., Nov. 24, at Solitude Freewill
Baptist Church. Burial was held at Mars Hill Cemetery in Adamsville.
Officiating the services were ministers were Marvin Morrow, Don Lipford, and
Douglas Powell. Active bearers were Bryce Finley, Steve Weeks, Randy McKee,
Marty Pickens, Andy Weeks, Randall Weeks, Brian Weeks, and Malcom Weeks.
Mrs. Weeks was preceded in death by her husband, Alfie N. Weeks, four
brothers, and two grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters,
Virginia Finley, Freeda Bricker, and Brenda Pickens all of Adamsville, six
sons, Welbert Weeks of Milan, Elvin Weeks of Finger, Shannon Weeks, Doyle
Weeks and Waylon Weeks all of Adamsville, and Arvis Weeks of Bethel Springs,
one sister, Exie Brown of Kossuth, Miss., thirty grandchildren, fifty-eight
gr-grandchildren, and twelve gr-gr-grandchildren.
