Stanley L. Hardy, 100, formerly of Maple Avenue, died July 15, 2014 at the Mennonite Home. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Elvin and Anna Weber Hardy. He was the loving husband of the late Anna S. Hardy for 70 years until her death in 2004. He had worked for 44 years at Lancaster Newspapers in the circulation and production departments until his retirement in 1975 and then at Valentino's Cafe until 1986.

He was a long-time member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by daughter Patricia White, grandson Jeffrey White, husband of Jeffrey Hanselman, granddaughter Kimberly, wife of Thomas Bieber, great grandson Michael Bieber, husband of Amanda and great, great grandson Colin Bieber.

He was preceded in death by granddaughter Sharon, wife of the late Phillip Leighton.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
