"Robert E. Shenk, born June 19, 1925, to Robert E. and Edna Shenk, passed away on 6/16/10 in Palm Harbor, Florida.

He resided in Brooksville, FL. His wife, Dolly, predeceased him by several years.

Robert served in the US Navy during WW II from 1943-1946.

He also served 22 years with the Lancaster City Police Dept. He served from 1954-1976, then retired to Florida with his wife and son.

Robert leaves behind a son, Thomas E. Shenk and his wife Celeste who live in Mountville; his other son, Robert E. Shenk, Jr. and wife Patricia who reside in Palm Harbor, FL; and also a daughter, Shirley M. Delorenzo, who resides in Reading.

Robert also leaves behind eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren as well."
