George Washington Littlefield married Joy Hagle on 3 Jul 1927 in Lawton, Oklahoma. They were parents of four children, Betty, Harley, Cheryl and Monty. He was a banker in Eldorado, Oklahoma for many years.

Eldorado (Staff) -- Funeral services for George W. Littlefield, 81, of Eldorado, prominent area resident and businessman who died in his home Friday [04 Aug 1967] of an apparent heart attack, will be at 2 pm Monday in the First Baptist Church, Eldorado.
Rev. Walter Knox of the First Baptist Church, Eldorado will officiate and be assisted by Bill Osborne, minister of the Church of Christ, Eldorado.
Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery, Fletcher, with the Merrill Funeral Home, Altus in charge of arrangements.
Littlefield was born on Sept 11, 1905 in Adamsville, Tenn. He married Joy Hagle on July 3, 1927 in Lawton and moved to Eldorado in 1944 from Maysville.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge, and the Lions Club, all of Eldorado. He also had served on the Eldorado School Board for the past 22 years.
Littlefield was the past president of the Oklahoma Banker's Association, Group 1. In addition, he was the president and a member of the Board of Directors of Jackson County Memorial Hospital since the hospital was built in 1949.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Jackson County Industrial Trust Association and was formerly associated with banks in Fletcher, Cement, Sterling, Walters, and Maysville.
Survivors include his wife, Joy, of the home; two sons, George Harley and John Monroe, both of Eldorado; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Yeager, Oklahoma City and Miss Joy Cheryl Littlefield, Waco, Tex; two brothers, Elmo, Fletcher and John Lawton; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Roll, Fletcher and Mrs. Herbert Foster, Oklahoma City; and nine grandchildren.

Joy was the daughter of Harvie Hagle and Hettie Kennemer Hagle. She married George Washington Littlefield on 3 Jul 1927 in Lawton, Oklahoma. They were parents of four children, Betty, Harley, Cheryl and Monty. She married Arah Vernon "Bob" Durham on 4 Apr 1969 in Vernon, Texas. She died in Quanah, Texas after suffering a heart attack.
There is a second memorial for her in the Fletcher Cemetery, memorial #57283871. The obituary for her stated she was buried in the Eldorado Cemetery.
