Funeral services for Mr. Nealie Carl Guinn were held on Tuesday, May 6, 1974, at Eubanks Funeral Home, Canton, Texas. Interment was in the Old Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Guinn was a retired farmer and lived in the Phalba community all of his life.He was born on November 27, 1904 in Mabank.Survivors include his wife, Mrs Nancy T. Guinn of Mabank; a son, Guy Carlton Guinn of Seagoville; One step-daughter Mrs Sybil Faircloth of Dallas; Three brothers, Eddie Guinn of Mabank, Henry Guinn of Dallas, And Dalton Guinn of Hillsboro; Four sisters, Mrs. Alice McAfee of Mabank, Mrs. Laura Flowers of Kemp, Mrs. Artie Flowers of Mabank, And Mrs. Opal Floyd of Dallas. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild are also among the survivors.Mr. Guinn was the brother of Mabank`s mayor, Eddie Guinn.

Nancy Guinn

Funeral services for Nancy T. Guinn, 86, Canton, were held at 2 p.m. July 25 in the Eubank Funeral Home Chapel in Canton with Rev. B. R. Mullins officiating.

Burial Was in the Cana Cemetery.

Mrs. Guinn died July 23 in Canton.

She was born January 19, 1907, in Kaufman to Guy Dean and Rosie Matilda Hopkins Stephens and grew up in the Phalba Community. She had lived in the Canton area since 1974.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Cathy Guinn, Ben Wheeler; daughter, Sible Matney, Dallas; sister, Alta Fay Temple Thomas, Canton; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Alvin Temple, Thomas Temple, David Wheeler, Tommy Faircloth, Guy Faircloth and Tony Faircloth.
