== Biography ==

===Will===His will was probated in Houston County, Republic of Texas on July 17, 1843 and names as executor, however, William Sadler did not wish to be executor, so his brother, petitioned the court and was assigned to administer the estate. William Grigsby, principal, together with Marcus P. Mead (whose wife is named in a later petition as Elizabeth, also Mead was appointed one of the appraisers) and (whose wife is named in a later petition) posted bond for two thousands dollars for the administration of the estate on August 28, 1843. Will was proved during the August Term of 1843. Marcus P. Mead takes over as administrator after William dies.
