GRAFF, Donald William
Age 80, of #117 West Highland Avenue, Elkland, PA, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007, at his residence. He was born July 22, 1926 in Jersey Shore, PA, the son of William and Edith Moyer Graff. He worked for 25 years for the Elkland Leather Company and he was a carpenter by trade. Don was a veteran of the US Army, stationed in Switzerland and England during WWII. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Don was a member of the V.F.W., the C.V. Rod and Gun Club, the Eagles of Jersey Shore, the Elkland American Legion, the Elkland Moose Lodge and the Elkland Softball Association. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean Yocum Graff; son, Evan William Graff, Elkland, PA; daughter, Peggy Graff Sweet, Painted Post, NY; stepdaughter, Doris Yocum Harding, Elkland, PA; sisters, Sarah (Joe) Doan, R.D., Osceola, PA, Joan (Elwood) Heffner, Lawrenceville, PA, Judy (John) Bruce, Elkland, PA; brother, Leroy Graff, R.D., Osceola, PA; Burial in Butler Hill Cemetery, Deerfield Twp

Jean Louise (Yocum) Graff, age 88 of Elkland passed away on Monday, October 31, 2016 at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital in Wellsboro. Born February 17, 1928 in Allenwood, PA, she was the daughter of the late Emanuel and Stella (Bower) Yocum. She married Donald W. Graff and they shared 55 years together until he passed on April 23, 2007. Jean retired from Corning Inc. with over 20 years of service. She loved camping, shopping, being outside and softball games. Jean is survived by her children, Doris (Yocum) Harding of Elkland, Evan Graff of Elkland and Peggy (Graff) Sweet of Corning, NY. her sister, Lois Joanne Yocum of Texas. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister Alma (Gordon) Doan of Knoxville. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
