Spokane Relatives of President-elect Taft Will Attend His Inauguration as President

Spokane, WA - December 10 - Mrs. B. W. Woolverton and her sister, Miss Jessie Fyfe, both of Spokane, cousins of President-elect Taft, whom they have never seen, will attend the inauguration ceremonies and ball at Washington, D.C., March 4, after which they will visit the Tafts for two weeks.

Mrs. Woolverton said that Mr. Taft's mother visited the Fyfes in southern California, when the president-elect was a small boy. The Fyfe's moved to Pierce, Nebraska, afterward, coming to Spokane six years ago. The relationship of the two families is established by Mr. Taft's uncle marrying Mrs. Woolverton's aunt.

Mrs. Woolverton received several letters from Mr. Taft before and after his election as chief executive of the nation, and in the last he invited them to visit the White House.

Woman Dies of Fall Injuries

Stockton, Sept 24 - Injuries received when she fell down the stairs at a local apartment house yesterday proved fatal to Mrs. Alice Woolverton, 78, of Spokane, who arrived here three days ago to settle the estate of her sister, Mrs. Mary Emerson, who died here in April. Mrs. Woolverton was accompanied here by another sister, Miss Jessie Fyfe.

Mrs. Woolverton stumbled on the top stair and fell to the sidewalk, fracturing her skull. She died at a local hospital without regaining consciousness.
