"Charles M. Pifer
Charles M. Pifer, 80, formerly of 101 Ravine St., died in William Ross Annex at 10:50 p.m. Thursday. He had been in failing health since suffering a stroke in 1951 and had been a patient in Ross Annex since in April.

Born in Sullivan County, he lived in Lafayette 25 years and was married in 1945 to Blanche Etta Benson who died in 1959.

There are no immediate survivors."
