"Bert Seever Sr. Expires Today

Bert Seever Sr., 76 years old, until five years ago a resident of Linton, died at 12:40 o'coclk this morning at his home at Farmersburg, following a long illness.

Mr. Seever was born on May 19, 1875, the son of Barton and Lula Seever. He had lived in the Linton community for many years, moving to Farmersburg about five years ago.

Mr. Seever is survived by the widow, Mrs. Bessie Seever; two daughters, Mrs. Hallie Beck and hazel Dean Seever, at home, 3 sons, Fred O. Seever of Wilmington, Calif., Clyde Seever of Carlisle and Bert H. Seever Jr., of Linton; two half-brothers, Charles Seever of Kansas City, Mo., and Grover Seever of Carlisle; four half-sisters, Mrs. Carrie Drake of Carlisle, Mrs. Ruth Nida of Washington, D.C., Miss Frances Seever of Lafayette; and Mrs. Louella Phelps of Lafayette; elevel grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Fidler Funeral home in Farmersburg, to lie in state.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Shaker Prairie First Christian church, and burial will be made in the Shaker Prairie cemetery."

"Mrs. Bessie Seever Is Taken by Death

Mrs. Bessie V. Seever, 73 years old, former resident of Linton, died at 5:30 o'clock Monday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Beck, at Pimento.

Mrs. Seever and her husband, Bert Sr., resided in the Linton community for many years, before moving to Farmersburg about eight years ago. Mr. Seever passed away in 1952.

She is survived by three sons, Bert Seever Jr. of Linton, Clyde Seever of Oaktown and Fred Seever of Lafayette; two daughters, Mrs. Hallie Beck of Pimento and Mrs. Jane Wagner of Farmersburg; one sister, Mrs. Floy Sheeley of Terre Haute; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

The body of the deceased was taken to the Fidler-Wood Funeral home in Farmersburg. It will be removed Wednesday afternoon to the Shaker Prairie Christian church southwest of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held at the church at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, and burial will be made in the church cemetery."
