Roland Proctor was the son of Thomas Proctor and Mary Polly Musser and was born about 1831 in Clinton County, PA.

Roland was married to Rosa Rosalyn Farnsworth. He and Rosa had the following children:
1 Florence Flora 1863-1945 (1st William F. Suiter and at least one child, Robert William 1893-1968)
2 Clarence 1870 (Ida and at least one child, Roland Proctor 1899)
3 Helen Blanche 1875-1846 (Vinson Murray Stouck and three children):

Roland was listed on the Dunstable and Liberty Townships as a Laborer and a Tobacco Grower. His real estate value in 1870 was $900.

Roland Proctor died on January 20, 1895.

Death of Respected Citizen.
Mr. Rolland R. Proctor, a much respected citizen of Dunnstable township, passed peacefully away from time to eternity on Sunday, Jan 20th, 1895, aged 64 years, 2 months, and 5 days. Funeral services at the house of Mr. Lewis Chambers, Tuesday, Jan 22d, at 12 o'clock, noon; interment in Jersey Shore cemetery. Mr. Proctor is survived by two daughters and one son. He was born in the village of Liberty and made that his home during his entire life. He was the youngest son of the late Thomas Proctor, now many years deceased. He was of an entertaining disposition and made many friends. When a young man he was employed as boatman and foreman on the river, manning the boats and pushing them from below to far up the stream, boating supplies up and bringing produce down, it being the only way of transportation at that time. For several years he has been a sufferer from inflammatory rheumatisis and has been confined to his room for the last two years, gradually becoming worse when at last the vital spark fled.

The death of his wife was May 23, 1893.
