Sidna Robinson Jackson, Jr., 67, died at 11:54 PM Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Born April 1, 1936, at Brazil, he served in the U.S. Army. His marriage was to Beverly Fording on Oct. 16, 2000, at Pigeon Forge, TN; she survives.

Mr. Jackson was a mechanic at Lafayette Auto Supply. He formerly owned the Beetle Shop in Lafayette. He was an avid bowler, and a member of several bowling leagues. He was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Michelle Woodall of Indianapolis, Melinda Jackson, and Margaret Portain, both of Winter Haven, FL; a son, Greg Jackson (fiancee Kelli) of Frankfort; a stepdaughter, Cheryl Chafine (husband Zach) of Buck Creek; his mother, Margaret Jackson of Kyle, TX; a sister, Virginia Ann Mooney of Kyle, TX; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and a step-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his father, Sidna Jackson; and a brother, George Allen Jackson.
