William Carl “Bill” Anderson, 75, of Clark, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was born December 9, 1942 in Duncans Bridge to Arthur Carl and Lucy Helen (Hendricks) Anderson.

Prior to retirement Bill owned and operated Wilbert Vault and Monument Company for over 20 years.

Bill married Linda Ray Smithey on November 17, 1962 in Moberly and she preceded him in death on March 7, 2002. He married again on May 21, 2004 in Moberly and his wife survives of the home. Also surviving are his five children, five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, two brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Linda Ray Anderson.

Bill loved horseback riding and trail rides, especially trail riding in Eminence, MO. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and joking with them, he loved making up songs to sing to them. He and his wife enjoyed car rides together.

Memorial contributions to the American Lung Association or the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.

A visitation was held Saturday, February 10, 2018, at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Services honoring and celebrating Bill’s life will followed. Committal prayers and burial were in the New Hope Cemetery.

William Carl “Bill” Anderson, 75, of Clark, died Wednesday, February 7, 2018. He was born December 9, 1942 in Duncans Bridge to Arthur Carl and Lucy Helen (Hendricks) Anderson.

He later married Sandy Elaine Cockrell on May 21, 2004 in Moberly and she survives of the home. Also surviving are his children; Stephen Brent Anderson of Clark, Scott Brenden Anderson and his wife Billie of Moberly, Ashley Nichole Spicer and Marcus Johnson of Mexico, MO and Lacey King and her husband Ryan of Camdenton, MO, five grandchildren; Jordyn Danielle Boardsen and her husband Kurt, Calli Brooke Cochran and her husband Cameron, Evin and Carter Ford and Bodie King, two great-grandchildren, Gavin Grimsley and Everleigh Boardsen, two sisters, Patty Goodding and her husband Mort of Cairo, MO and Glenda Alley and husband Steve of Moberly, two brothers, Roy Anderson of Middletown, MO and Roger Anderson of Fort Madison, IA, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
