"Dorothy M. Evans -

MUNCY - Dorothy M. Evans, 88, a borough native, of Pottsgrove, died Friday, Dec. 9, 1988, in Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was a member of the Homemakers of America.

Mrs. Evans was a Baptist.

Born April 29, 1900, she was a daughter of Isaac and Mary Shipman Taylor.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Jean M. Hovenstein, of Pottsgrove; two sons, Charles W. Evans Jr., of Milton RD 2, and James Springman, of Muncy, nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ranck's, 127 North Front Street, Milton. Burial will be in Muncy Cemetery.

Elders John Eastman, of Harrisburg, and Dennis Moore, of Muncy, will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday."
