On January 10, 1986. Carl C. Eppinger, Jr. Beloved husband of Edith M. (nee) Groff of Mt. Ephraim, NJ. Age 64 years. Also survived by three sons, Robert C. of Vicentwon, Wayne R. and James R. both of Mt. Ephraim. A sister, Linda Olsson of Freemont, Calif. A brother, Rev. W.B. Eppinger of Vineland, and two granddaughters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the HOLL-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, West End Avenue at Kings Highway, Haddonfield. Interment, Locustwood Memorial Park. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM. Edith Mary Eppinger, age 97, of Mount Ephraim, walked peacefully into her Savior's arms early Friday morning on May 3, 2019. She was born to the late John and Ruth (Davis) Groff in Pennsauken, New Jersey. Edith graduated from Merchantville High School in 1940 and then worked for Warren Webster where she met her husband Carl and married in 1942. After raising her family, she later worked as a sales representative for Fashion Bug and retired from Woolworth's. She also continued her family's long tradition of Fire Service and was the oldest member of the Mount Ephraim Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. Edith enjoyed gardening, crocheting, baking, teaching Sunday School, and caring for her family including her cats and dogs. Most of all, she will be remembered for being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be missed by family and friends.

Edith was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Eppinger; sons, Robert C. Eppinger and Wayne R. Eppinger. She is survived by her son, James R. Eppinger; grandchildren, Stacie L. Eppinger and husband John Ford, Gail M. Eppinger, Dean J. Conboy, and Carl B. Eppinger; and great grandchildren, Logan, Ava, and Ryker.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on May 9, 2019 from 5pm-7pm and May 10, 2019 from 10:30am-11:30am at Mahaffey-Milano Funeral Home, located at 11 E. Kings Hwy., Mount Ephraim, NJ 08059. A funeral ceremony will be held on May 10, 2019 at 11:30 am at the funeral home. Edith will be laid to rest at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.
