EDMONDSON Janet Rose (nee Wolverton) March 11, 1921 - September 12, 2009 It is with heavy hearts and joyous memories that the family of Janet announces her passing. Jannie's gentle and giving nature will be missed by her sister Frances Jordan and her brother Harold Wolverton. She also leaves behind her stepchildren Gayle, Margaret, Elizabeth, Barb and John and their children. Her regal demeanour and sense of fun will be remembered fondly by her many nephews and nieces and their children, and especially by her devoted nephew David Jordan. Janet was predeceased by her husband, Bert Edmondson; her parents, Harold and Lulu Wolverton; her sister, Dorothy Grace Wolverton and her brother, Newton Ellis Wolverton. Words cannot express the depth of our thanks to Janet's caregiver and friend, Josie Sabasales. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 1460 West 49th Avenue, Vancouver at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Janet's name to Trinity Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
