Mary Margaret Edgar Bercosky , 77, of Cokeburg, formerly of Marianna, died Monday, November 19, 2007 , in Mon Valley Hospital.

She was born December 9, 1929, in West Bethlehem Township, a daughter of Bernard and Clementine Pester Edgar.

She attended Marianna schools.

Until her retirement in 1980, Mrs. Bercosky worked at the Canteen in Washington Hospital.

She was a member of Pleasant Hill Church, Ten Mile.

A Waynesburg Eagles member, she enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family, and playing bingo.

Mrs. Bercosky was married to Edward "Shrimp" Bercosky , who died August 19, 1989.

Surviving are five children, Bill (Rose) Kelley of Daisytown, Edward Bercosky of Washington, Barbara (Richard) Amos of Marianna and Sherry Spencer and Russell Bercosky , both of Cokeburg; a sister, Shirley Jenkins of Amity; eight grandchildren, Kim Bell, Kara Kelley, Kristi Kelley, Valerie Amos, Lisa Starr, Kevin Bercosky , Heather Bercosky and Russell Bercosky ; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Barbara Ellen Edgar; and four brothers, Earl, Bill, Kenneth and George Edgar.

Friends will be received from 1 to 6 p.m., the hour of services, Tuesday, November 20, in Nichol Funeral Home, 1728 Main Street, Marianna, with the Rev. Domenick Sgro officiating. Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
