"Mother And Babe Buried Sunday
15 October

The mortal remains of Mrs. H. C. Guinn and that of her newly born daughter were laid to rest in the Mabank Cemetery Sunday morning following religious rites at the Henry Eubank Funeral Home here at 10 o'clock. Rev. C. H. McClung, Baptist minister of Ft. Worth and pastor of the church at Arcadia was the officiating minister.

Mrs. Johnnie Mae Dykes Guinn was born March 10 1914, at Prairieville, Texas. She attended the Prairieville School and spent the entirety of her life in the Prairieville and Arcadia communities.

The deceased is survived by her husband, H. C. Guinn, two sons, Pat and Mack Payne, one step-son, Bobbie Guinn; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. N. Dykes; one brother, J. N. Dykes, Jr., and five sisters Mrs. Vol Meeks, Mrs. Martha Balasa, Mrs. Harvey McAnally Mrs. Emmie Smith, and Mrs. Fannie Sneed."
