Marie Louise Dyer, of South Williamsport, died at HCR ManorCare South, Williamsport, on Dec. 7, 2016.

Born at home in South Williamsport, she is the daughter of Ralph Miller and Velma Ellen (Hopper) Dyer.

Marie was a long time member of Messiah Lutheran Church, South Williamsport.

She worked as a salesperson for Sears and Roebuck & Co for more than 28 years.

Marie was a graduate of the South Williamsport High School class of 1941. Marie was a member of the American Business Women’s Association, the DuBoistown Garden Club, and the Sears Retiree Club.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Henry H. Dyer.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, at the Pine Hill Cemetery, Elysburg.
