William Wilson Franks was born December 4, 1862 in Jay County, Indiand. He married Sarah Adelia Jones on April 21, 1886 in Montgomery County, Iowa. They had two known children, Walter and Guy. Sarah died on July 31,1908. He then married Rose Olive Durbin. Together they had 5 more children, Janet, Ruby, Gary, Donald, and Ruth. He died May 23, 1946 in Greenwood, Cass County, Nebraska and is buried in the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.
DEATH AT GREENWOOD, NEBRASKA OF WILLIAM W. FRANKS.
William Wilson Franks, 83, died at his home in Greenwood, Nebraska, last Thursday evening, May 23, 1946. He had been in failing health for some time. Mr. Franks was born December 4, 1862.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 PM, Monday, May 27, 1946 at the Greenwood Christian Church. Rev. C. A. Park of Lincoln officiating. Music was furnished by Vietta Card and Frieda Wortzel with Mrs. Virgil R. Schuelka playing the accompaniment.
Pallbearers were: William Kelly, Walter Wortzel, William Schuelke, Emmett Landon, Paul Buckingham, , and Daniel Buckingham.
Interment was made in the Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Greenwood, Nebraska. Marcy Funeral services was in charge of arrangements.

MRS. BRYANT, 72, DIES AT PLATTSMOUTH
Funeral services were held at the Greenwood Chrisitian Church, Wednesday afternoon, 2 PM, September 13, 1967, for Mrs. Rose Olive (Franks) Bryant, 72, who died Sunday, September 10, 1967, at Plattsmouth Manor, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
The Rev. Gail Portenier officiated, Lloyd Edwards sang "God Will Take Care of You" and "Beyond the Sunset," with Mrs. Warren Robinson as accompanist. The pallbearers were Maynard Griffith, Dale Jeffrey, Harold Jewett, Steve Franks, Walt Marolf, and Wayne Marolf. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Cemetery, Marcy Mortuary, Ashland, Nebraska, made the arrangements.
Rose Olive, the daughter of Ed and Mary Jane Simmons Durbin, was born near Sedalia, Missouri, on April 10, 1895. Her first husband, William Wilson Franks, died May 23, 1946. Her second husband also preceded her in death.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Janet Godbeau of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and Mrs. Louis Jeffrey of Waverly Nebraska, and by six sisters.
