"James J. Dry
James J. Dry, 68, of 1594 W. Stardust St., North East Palm Bay, Fla., died at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Fla., on Friday (Nov. 24, 1989) at 5:30 a.m.
Mr. Dry was a United States Air Force veteran of World War II and he retired from the maintenance department of Penn State in 1978 after 35 years of service.
He was born Nov. 26, 1920 in Freeport, a son of the late Forest J. and Mary Easley Dry.
He married Evelyn Rosetta Jackson who died June 12, 1985.
On Sept. 6, 1986, he married Helen Ann Daye, who survives in Florida.
He is also survived by a daughter, Martha Kelleher of Bellefonte; two step-daughters: Sandra Hartsock of Boalsburg; Cynthia Yearick of State College; a son, Richard of State College; a step-son, Richard Shuey of State College; a brother, Thomas of State College; and numerous grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at Koch Funeral Home, State College, on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Thomas E. Frantz officiating.
Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park.
Friends will be received at the funeral home one hour prior to the ceremony."

Sara Mae Miller, 81 of Bellefonte, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Hearthside Nursing Home in State College.
Sara was born January 6, 1929 in Newberry, Pa. the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Snyder Kellerman. She was raised by her aunt and uncle Israel and Della Reitz.
She was married to Wilbur Miller, who preceded her in death, March 18, 2007.
Sara was employed as a dispatcher for the Penn State Police Department and retired as a Telephone Operator with the University. She was of Methodist Faith. She enjoyed crafts and sewing.
She is survived by one daughter; Martha Jane Kelleher and husband Michael, of Bellefonte, one son; Richard Alan Dry and wife Ruthie of State College, one brother; Phillip Richard Kellerman of Bigelow, Ark, four grandchildren and three great-granddaughters.
Private services will be held at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard, Pa. with her brother, the Rev. Phillip R. Killerman officiating.
Burial will be at the Christian Cemetery, Blanchard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 123 S. Sparks St., State College, Pa. 16801.
