CORY, Ind., Nov. 23. - John W. Donham, 75 years old, died at 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the residence here. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ethel Jeffers, of near Cory; Mrs. Lucinda Thomas, of Hammond, Ind., and Mary Etta and Nettie Donham, at home; two sons, Austin L. Donham, of Portland, Ore., and Melvin Donham, of Terre Haute, R. R. 2; one step-son, Howard Beatty, at home; one sister, Mrs. Etta Young, of Los Angeles, Cal., and eight grandchildren. Short funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at the residence, with continued services at 10:30 o'clock at the Cory Methodist Episcopal church. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery. He was a member of Odd Fellows lodge No. 449 of Cory, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. The body was taken to the Fox funeral home in Riley and later removed to the residence."
