Vivian Palmer, 84, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2008 in Elk Grove, CA. She was born February 25, 1924 to Noema and Serafin De Melo, who preceded her in death, in Sacramento where she grew up and remained most of her life. After attending C.K. McClatchy High School she married her loving husband, the late Paul L. Palmer, and raised two children. Vivian was a cheerful and kind lady who loved to celebrate and decorate for the holidays. She will be greatly missed by her sons, Paul L. Palmer Jr. and his wife Cassidy, Edward H. Palmer and his wife Judy, her grandchildren, Amber, Eric, Lisa, Cody, and Ciera; and many other family and friends. A burial service will be held Friday, October 17th at 10am, at Sacramento Memorial Lawn. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Sunrise Assistant Living for their loving care.
