Doney Bernette Cummings went to be with her Lord and Savior on February 19, 2011 just before her 90th birthday. She was a long time resident of Lucerne Valley, Ca. Her children, Bob Cummings of California City, Bill Cummings of Chino, Beatrice Galante of Victorville, Jerry and David Cummings of Lucerne Valley are left to carry on her memory. She is also survived by 16 grand children, 58 great grandchildren and 36 great great grandchildren. Doney was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Robert "Buck" Cummings, 3 grand children, her parents, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Services will be held at Victor Valley Mortuary 15609 11th Street in Victorville, CA on Feb. 25, 2011 with viewing at 9:30 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. Final interment will be at the Lucerne Valley Memorial Park following the service. Pastor Gary Schlenz of Lucerne Valley will be officiating the services.
