Funeral services for Alvin Abbott, 40, will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at the Reeves-Dow funeral home with Rev. Paul Textor officiating.
Mr. Abbott died Sunday at the Hand Hospital, Shenandoah, Iowa after a prolonged illness.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene; two brothers, Jesse of Red Oak, Iowa and Robert of Union, Nebraska; one sister, Isabelle Biggart of Sioux City, Iowa; and his mother, Mrs. Henry Shepherd of Sioux City, Iowa.
