Mary Ellen Pence, 94, of Woodstock, widow of Marvin C. Pence, died February 9, 2008. Mrs. Pence was born in Frederick County, Virginia, on November 6, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Earl C. and Bettie Lee Brill Coffelt.
Mrs. Pence is survived by five sons, Marvin C. Pence, Jr. of Nokesville, Fred B. Pence of Waynesboro, Richard A. Pence, Douglas M. Pence, and Guy L. Pence, all of Edinburg; two daughters, Bettie P. Cook of Woodstock, and Darlene P. Stultz of New Market; eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and twelve great-great grandchildren.
