Morris A. Coffman, 91, Indianapolis passed away July 10, 2013. He was born September 29, 1921 in Cushing, OK to the late Clarence and Grace Morris Coffman.

Morris married Gertrude M. "Trudy" Clark on April 10, 1945 in Indianapolis and she preceded him in death September 27, 2003.

He was employed 20 years at Naval Civil Service retiring in 1971 as an engineer. He was a member and an ordained Elder of The General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn.

His survivors include sons Ken (Deanna) Coffman of Indianapolis and Randy (Melody) Coffman of Edinburgh; daughter Sue (Steve) Tibbett of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren and sister Mildred DeBoor of Indianapolis.

He was also preceded in death by his brother Dale Coffman and grandson Russell "Rusty" Tibbett. Services 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 13 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 12 at the mortuary. Burial in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Gertrude "Trudy" (Clark) Coffman, 76, died Saturday, Sept. 27, 2003, at her residence in Indianapolis.

She was born Oct. 26, 1926, in Pason, Okla. Her parents were Esme S. and May Belle (Smith) Clark. She married Morris Coffman on April 10, 1945, in Indianapolis. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Sue Tibbett of Indianapolis; two sons, Ken Coffman of Indianapolis and Randy Coffman of Thompson Station, Tenn.; three sisters, Edith "Edie" DeBoor and Bea LeBoutillier, both of Indianapolis, and Mary Pope of Morgantown; a brother, Melvin E. Clark of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Bess Estes; three brothers, Fred, Marion and Alfred Clark; and a grandson, Russel "Rusty" Tibbett.

She was a homemaker and a member of General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Indianapolis.

Elder Paul Williams will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. today at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 7602 S. Madison Ave. in Indianapolis. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.
