On Thursday, March 17, 1983 at Alexandria Hospital, Col. LOUIS M. GOSORN of Alexandria, VA., husband of the late Marion Chilcotte Gosorn; father of Mary Lou Gossom and Elaine Frances Conner; brother of Mr. B. Irene Thorp; also survived by one grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, at 12 noon at Immanuel Church on the Hill Seminary Chapel, Virginia Theological Seminary Grounds, Alexandria, Va. Friends may call at the EVERLY-WHEATLEY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 W. Braddock rd., Alexandria on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors."

"Marian C. Gosorn, 64, Wife of Army Colonel
Marian C. Gosorn, 64, wife of Retired Army Col. Louis M. Gosorn, died in her home at 1213 Janneys Lane, Alexnadria, on Sunday after a heart attack.
Mrs. Gosorn, the former Marian Chilcotte, was a lifelong resident of Alexandria and a national president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the 29th Division Association, an organization to care for veterans.
Besides her husband, she leaves her mother, Mrs. Madie Chilcotte, and a brother, Harold Chilcotte, both of Alexandria; four sisters, Mrs. A. B. Elliott and Mrs. Thomas P. Coombs, both of Alexandria, Mrs. Theodore Zakrzewski of Oxon Hill and Mrs. Leo L. Burch of Pompano Beach, Fla,; and two daughters, Mrs. Richard H. Gossom of Silver Spring and Mrs. John D. Conner Jr. of Knoxville, Tenn.
Services will be a[sic] 12:30 p.m. tomorrow at Zabriskie Chapel in Immanuel Church on the Hill, 3606 Seminary Road, Alexandria. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery."
