Enid Wolverton of Paonia died Wednesday at Paonia Bethesda Care Center. She was 97. No funeral services are planned. Cremation has taken place. Remains will be buried next to her parents in Green River, Utah.

She was born Sept 17, 1891 to Edwin T. and Wilmont E. Siprell Wolverton in Gilman. She spent her childhood in the Green River, Utah, area. Mrs. Wolverton was an Avon representative for about 16 years in Texas and Oklahoma and a welder for Kaiser Aircraft in Washington state during World War II.

She was a member of the Christian Science Church. She enjoyed raising house plants.
Taylor Funeral Service of Paonia is in charge of arrangements.
