Fletcher (Special) -- Services for Bascum Hardeman Littlefield, 80, a retired farmer, will be held at 2:20 pm [on] Wednesday [07 Dec 1966] in [the] First Baptist Church of Fletcher[, Oklahoma].
Rev. Bob Lovejoy, minister of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under [the] direction of Dalton Funeral Home.
Mr. Littlefield was born [on] Jan[uary] 3, 1886 in Jones County, Tex[as]. He was married to Lottie Buffington on Sept[ember] 6, 1914 at Elgin, Okla[homa] They lived in the Fletcher community until 1933 when they moved to a farm north of Apache[, Oklahoma]. They resided there until August 1953 when he retired from farming and returned to Fletcher.
He is survived by his wife, Lottie at home in Fletcher[,Oklahoma]; six daughters, Mrs. Geneva Metzger [of] Bentonville, Ark[ansas], Mrs. Dorothea Sexton [of] Tulsa[, Oklahoma], Mrs. Fay Wilson [of] Tulane, Calif[ornia], Mrs. Retha Willis [of] Chouteau[, Oklahoma], Mrs. Billie Dove Landers [of] Oklahoma City[, Oklahoma], and Mrs. Gladys Sellers [of] Meeker[, Oklahoma]; three brothers, Elmo [of] Fletcher[, Oklahoma], John [of] Lawton[, Oklahoma], and George [of] Eldorado[, Oklahoma]; two sisters, Mrs. Artie Roll [of] Fletcher[,Oklahoma] and Mrs. Mattie Foster [of] Oklahoma City[, Oklahoma]; 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
