We found a publication of "Cemeteries of Georgia" which listed Warren Clinton Cannon in the Smyrna Cemetery, Dobbs County, Georgia.  Smyrna is a suburb of Western Atlanta.  There is now a New Smyrna Cemetery located a mile or so from the old Smyrna Cemetery.

Research Notes: Husband - Warren Clinton (W.C.) CANNON



W.C. in Yell Co., AR census 1880. Above fm Earl Walton of GA . The 1880
census of Yell County listed children of W.C. as Walton, Jessie, and
Robert. This indicated that Robert was my grandfather, T. Robert, since T.
Robert named a son Ernest Robert (my father), and named a daughter Jessie
Walton, and I was named Walton after an uncle Walton spoken of by my
parents.

This was confirmed when I located a Walton Earl Cannon (3rd) living in
Dublin, GA (September, 1991).  He had a trunk handed down from his
grandmother which contained a family Bible and many newspaper clippings
and letters. The family bible provided the positive identification of W.C.
Cannon as my great-grandfather. It confirmed that Walton Earl (3rd) is my
second cousin once removed, since his Great-grandfather (Walton Lafayette
Cannon) is a brother to my Grandfather T.R. (Thaddeus Robert Cannon).
