Sarah, 83, of Bancroft, passed away Saturday, December 31st, 2011 at Sparrow Hospital.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 4, 2012, with Pastor Glen Hubbard officiating.

Sarah was born in Vernon Township, Michigan, the daughter of the late Harry and Anna (Whitehead) Borst. She married Carl Erickson on June 2, 1946 in Shepardsville; he preceded her in death in 1996.

Sarah was a homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother.

Those who cherish her memory include: son, Daniel Carl and wife Penny Erickson of Bancroft; daughter, Susan Marie and husband Carl Jones of Owosso; granddaughters, Hannah K. Erickson, Joyce Anderson and Annette Johnston.
