Twyla Lee Young, Rites Held Aug. 21
Funeral services for Twyla Lee Wolverton Young were held August 21 in the First Baptist Church of Hopkins with Pastor Lyle Chappell officiating. Twyla Lee was killed in a car accident August 18 while enroute to her parents' home southeast of Bedford.

She was born October 28, 1933, eight miles northeast of Hopkins and was graduated from Bedford High School in May of 1951.

On December 10, 1950, in Cameron, Mo. she was united in marriage to Jack Maurice Young of Hopkins. To this union four children were born. One, Ricky, preceded her in death on June 19, 1958. The remaining children are Randy Maurice of Clarinda, Iowa, Deana Lee and Riley Leedean of the home.

Twyla Lee spent all of her life in this area with the exception of approximately ten years she and her husband lived in Omaha, Nebr., where Jack was employed by Roberts Dairy. While living in Omaha Twyla Lee accepted Christ as her personal Savior and after moving to Hopkins in 1963 she united with the First Baptist Church of Hopkins.

Her family and friends will always remember her sunny smile and pleasant greetings.

She will be sadly missed by her husband and children, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rollie Wolverton, her brother, Ron Wolverton, and family, her grandmother, Mary A. Wolverton, and a host of other relatives and friends.
