It is true that Mr. Wolverton [Newton] indicated in his memorandum that a daughter Sarah had married a Mr. Jones, [but] he gave no authority for the indication. Independent research has failed to establish the existence of any such couple. The only known Sarah was a daughter of Israel, sister of Betsey and Jane"
