Signe was actually born on June 2, 1893 in Christiania, Norway (now Oslo). I'm not sure how her headstone was misprinted to say she was born in 1894. She was the 6th child out of 10, and was the first child born in Norway after the family emigrated there from Sweden on April 30, 1892.
