Born on June 29, 1928 to Frank Warner and Inez Irene (Stasel) Wolverton in Newark, Ohio, Marthalee Schaub, 88, went home to be with her Lord and loved ones on Sept. 3, 2016.

Marthalee married Frederick Sprinkle Schaub on Sept. 3, 1950. They lived most of their married life in Mount Vernon, Ohio. They joined the First Presbyterian Church in 1952 and remained faithful members throughout their life.

Marthalee was an avid Girl Scouter. She enjoyed nature and the outdoors, taking many trips with Fred after his retirement.

She leaves behind four children, James (Maureen) Schaub, Rebecca (James) Pfister, Nancy (Robert) MacDonald, and Andrew (Christine) Schaub. In addition, she will be missed by her 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by a brother, Warner Wolverton and her sister, Mary Wolverton.

Burial in Friendship Cemetery.
