Edwin A. Wolverton, had worked as a pumper for Petroleum Industries for many years.

Mr. Wolverton, 88, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1987 in his home in Ogden, Utah of natural causes.

He was born in Robin, Idaho, a son of Thomas E. and Annie L. Marley Wolverton. He grew up in Robin, Anaconda, Mont., and Lovell, Byron and Lance Creek, Wyo. He married Lou Bell Ames on Feb. 25, 1922, in Lovell, Wyo. They later solemnized their marriage with a ceremony in the Logan Temple in Logan. She died in 1960. On Jan. 11, 1961 he married Leah W. Goodsell in Ogden.

Survivors include a son, Thomas A. of Stevensville, Mont., a daughter, Bennis McKibben, of Ogden; a sister, Ester Hall of Pocatello, Idaho; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1988 in the Lindguist and Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden. Graveside services were held on Thursday, Jan. 7, 1988 in the Byron Cemetery in Byron. Haskell Funeral Home in Lovell was in charge of burial.

Services Held for Former Resident

Mrs. Lou Belle Wolverton, 35, Lance Creek, died at a hospital in Lusk Sunday, March 27, following a long illness from cancer. Funeral services were held in Lusk. Wednesday and the body was brought to the Haskell Funeral home Thursday.

A graveside service was held at the Byron cemetery Thursday afternoon, Bishop Walter Stevens conducting.

Mrs. Wolverton, a former Lovell and Byron resident, was born Feb. 14, 1905 in Lovell, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Ames. She is survived by her husband, Edwin A. Wolverton of Lance Creek; a son, Thomas A. Wolverton of Brush, Colo., and a daughter, Mrs. Dennis McKibben of Craig, Colo., and four grandchildren.
