Wilhelm (William) OCHS, native of Germany, came to the United States when a young man and in Erie County married Lavina Wolverton. After their marriage they began housekeeping in Huron, Ohio. Mr. Ochs, though he had learned the trade of pottery, found no occupation in that work and for a number of years was engaged in teaming which formed the bulk of his active life. He and his wife died in Huron when about 70 years of age. He was a republican in politics, and the Ochs family was represented among the best citizenship of that locality.
