Irving F. Sliker

Irving F. Sliker, brother of Claude Sliker of Dansville, died Saturday (Apr. 25, 1981).

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Moses Sliker; his children, Gerald Sliker of Holley, Mrs. Fred (Nancy) Haak of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Larry Sliker of Honeoye; 11 grandchildren; another brother, Raymond of Mt. Morris; and several nephews.

A funeral service was conducted Monday in Livonia. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Scottsburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Livonia Ambulance Corps or the Rochester Region Hemophilia Center, Rochester General Hospital, 1495 Portland Ave., Rochester 14621.

Carolyn M. Sliker

LIVONIA - Carolyn M. Sliker, 86, of West Ave., Livonia died Monday, March 20, 2000 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville. She was born the daughter of James and Mary Davis Moses on Oct. 14, 1913 in Lima, N.Y.

Carolyn was a reading aide at Livonia Central School. She was a member of the Livonia and Conesus Area Senior Citizens and the United Church of Livonia. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, grandson Christopher Sliker and son-in-law Fred Haak.

Mrs. Sliker is survived by her children Gerald (Carol) Sliker of LeRoy, Nancy Haak of Pittsburgh, Pa. and Larry (Patricia) Sliker of Honeoye; grandchildren Mark, James, Timothy, Holly, Robin, Andrew, Kelli, Cinthia, Mike, Tami and Jason; 12 great-grandchildren including Tyler; Alyssa, Robert, Smith, Alex, Thomas, Mallory, Erika, Meredith and Brandon; and nieces and nephews.

Friends called Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 at Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., Route 15, Livonia. Funeral services have been scheduled for today (Thursday, March 23) at 11 a.m. at the United Church of Livonia with the Rev. Timothy Hazlett officiating. Burial will be in Scottsburg.
