MSgt. Theodore R. McCament, age 85, of Yauger Road, Mount Vernon, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at Knox Community Hospital. He was born on December 24, 1925 in Knox County, Ohio to the late Harl and Faye (Pumphrey) McCament. Mr. McCament retired after 20 years of service with the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion both in Mount Vernon. He is survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Dwight McCament, Kenneth McCament, Carroll McCament and Eugene Gene McCament, five sisters, Kathleen Dowds, Elizabeth Wolford, Thelma Frost, Frances McCament and Nellie Booth. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 at 7 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home where friends may call one hour prior. Burial with military honors provided by the United States Air Force will be held in Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, 780 Park Ave. West, Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
