Clyde Oscar Goldsberry was born 3 August 1881 at Altoona, Polk County, Iowa, son of George O. Goldsberry and Cornelia Sophia Jenkins.
He married Edith Mischnick on 7 June 1905 in Otoe County, Nebraska. She was born about 1882 in Germany, daughter of John Mischnick.
Clyde and Edith had eight children: Johnny Goldsberry, born 30 March 1906 in Nebraska; Amos Fred Goldsberry, born 12 September 1907 in Otoe County, Nebraska, and married Bertha Emma Neemann; Arthur Goldsberry, born 12 September 1907 in Otoe County, Nebraska; Clyde Oscar Goldsberry, born 2 July 1910 in Nebraska, and married Lucille Agnes Buck; Eva C. Goldsberry, born 22 May 1912 in Nebraska, and married Mr. Sendo; Charlotte C. Goldsberry, born 8 August 1916 in Nebraska, and married Clarence Huss; Andy Goldsberry; and, Minnie P. Goldsberry, born 25 June 1919 in Nebraska, and married A. F. Rockwell. This family appears in the 1910 Federal Census for the First Ward of Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska, and in the 1920 Federal Census for Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska.
He later married Margaret Jane Abbott Brown.
Clyde Oscar Goldsberry died 25 November 1969; his wife, Edith, died in July 1922. They are both buried in Wyuka Cemetery at Nebraska City, Nebraska.

BROWN SERVICES TO BE THURSDAY
Funeral services will be held at the Lett Chapel at 2 P.M., Thursday for Margaret Jane Brown, 64, who died Sunday at St. Mary's Hospital after a long illness.
Dr. Carroll Prouty of the Methodist Church will officiate with burial in Thurman, Iowa.
Mrs. Brown was born April 18, 1897, at Solomon, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rastus Abbott. In 1913, she married Oscar Brown, who died in 1921 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Mrs. Brown lived at Thurman before she moved here 34 years ago. She was Methodist.
Surviving children are Mrs. Mary Shaw, Superior, Nebraska; Neal, Julian, Earl, Nebraska City, Nebraska; Mrs. Lucille Pierce, Bristol, Iowa, and Mrs. Betty Howard, Omaha, Nebraska. A daughter, Gayle, died in 1936.
Other survivors are her mother, Mrs. Fannie Abbott, Nebraska City, Nebraska; a sister, Elsie Cohn, Colon, Nebraska, and two brothers, Albert and Pete of Nebraska City, Nebraska.

Margaret Abbott Brown services held Thursday at 2 PM at the Litt Chapel with Dr. Carroll Prouty officiating. Burial will be February 7, 1962 at Thurman, Iowa. Pallbearers will be Darold, Bobbie, and Gene Abbott, and Delbert Barrett, all of Nebraska City, Bernard Abbott, Omaha, and Howard Miller, Dunbar, Nebraska.
