HUNTSVILLE MAN, DARRELL F. HUDSON, 70, DIES IN IOWA
Darrell F. Hudson, 70, Huntsville, died at 3:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Woodville Convalescing Home in Waterloo, Iowa, where he was admitted 10-days ago. He went to Iowa after becoming ill to live with a granddaughter.
Mr. Hudson was born and reared in the Brush Creek neighborhood, northwest of the Darksville. He was a member of the Union Chapel Christian Church of Darksville and was a son of the late Curtis and Fanny Hudson.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Jeffress, Kansas City, and Mrs. Frank Cassity, South Gate, Calif.; six sisters, Mrs. John Bateman and Mrs. Florence Teter, both of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. W. M. McArthur, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Mrs. Elmer Winkler, Mrs. Claude Gipson and Mrs. Glen Buster all of Huntsville; a brother, Orville Hudson, Huntsville, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Patton Funeral Home in Huntsville. Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow, with the Rev. Russell Pulis; pastor of the Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the Union Chapel Cemetery.
