GRANT CITY, Mo.- Dale R. Hennegin, 89, Grant City, formerly of Sheridan, Mo. died Sunday Oct. 1, 2000 at a Grant City health care center.

Mr. Hennegin was a retired carpenter and served in the Army during World War II.

Born Oct 22, 1910, in Sheridan, he was a graduate of Sheridan High School.

Mr. Hennegin was a member of the Sheridan Masonic Lodge No. 88, where he was a past master; Scottish Rites, St. Joseph: Moila Shrine Temple, St. Joseph: and the Sheridan American Legion Post No. 515.

His wife, Mildred, died in 1998.

Mr. Hennegin was also preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Adella Hennegin: two brothers, Wayne and James: and three sisters, Elsie Cline, Fern Ellis, and Laura Davidson. Surviving: a sister Hazel Hawk, Grant City.

Service: 2 pm Tuesday, Sheridan Christian Church, Burial" Van Skyock Cemetery, Sheridan. Visitation: after 10 am today at Andrews Funeral Home, Grant City. There is no scheduled famly visitation. Memorials may be sent to Sheridan Christian Church.

Mildred G. Hennegin 1910- 1998

SHERIDAN, Mo. - Mildred G. (Hibbs) Hennegin, 87, Sheridan, died Saturday, April 18, 1998 at a hospital in Liberty, Mo.

Mrs. Hennegin was a school teacher for 17 years in rural Worth County, Mo., and for 25 years in Grant City, Mo. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Sheridan, where she received her 50 year pin. She also was a member of the 20th Century Club and the Christian Church, both in Sheridan.

Born Oct. 21, 1910 in Sheridan, she graduated from Sheridan High School and received her B.S. in education from Northwest Missouri State Teachers College, Maryville, Mo.

On Jan 12, 1935, she married Dale Hennegin in Troy, Kan. He survives of the home.

Mrs. Hennegin was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Bertha Hibbs.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sheridan Christian Church. Burial: Van Skyock Addition of the Sheridan Cemetery. Visitation after 10 a.m. today, Andrews Funeral Home, Grant City.
